I came to counseling upon realizing how powerful it is to recognize and honor the difficulties we experience. I work from a “here-and-now” approach, as well as helping you to discover how past experiences shape current patterns in your life.
I draw from all of my education and training, which includes contemporary analytic psychology, Gestalt Therapy, the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), EMDR, and the clinical application of mindfulness and body awareness.
Couples Therapy is a specialty of mine. I feel honored to work with partners on their most intimate struggles, and aim to bring a value of respect to both sides, hoping to illuminate what is at the root of everyday conflict.
Along with my education and training, I bring compassionate, intuitive listening to my work, and the intention to be with you as you are, now.
